Well, maybe not within the city limits of Santa Clarita, but there’s snow on the mountains surrounding Santa Clarita! I think most of it was melted by the late afternoon though. Typical of Santa Clarita fake weather. Luckily the photos below were captured before the meltdown began.
Excuse me for getting a bit pumped over the snow. It’s been way too long since it actually snowed in Santa Clarita, in any real measurable amount. I’d guess it was back in 1988/1989? Anyone remember that? I still have pictures of that weather event, in Polaroid of course.
Anyways, it’s nice to see the mountains that surround us, get dusted with snow still, despite the fact that it just makes me jealous of those parts of the country that do get snow regularly, you know, the kind that actually lands on their house and heads. That’d be a nice change.
