The new effective date for the FHA annual premium increase, will be October 4, 2010. That, revised from September 7, 2010. Apparently the FHA received negative feedback about the effective date being made in September. They listened, and adjusted the date by about a month. This increase in the annual insurance premium, will be accompanied by a decrease in the upfront premium for FHA loans. Check out our blog post here, for more details, and what this might mean for you.

Listen in, and watch as I explain a bit about the premium increase and the new effective date.
