Santa Clarita Homes For Sale – Decreasing

As of today, March 25, 2009, the Santa Clarita inventory of homes actively for sale has dropped down to 1,198. While home prices continue to decrease in part of Santa Clarita, we’re starting to see actual month over month increases in others. Year over year, and month over month sales have been increasing. Buyers are out in full force, many of them first time home buyers, wanting their $8,000 tax credit, which is a bonus, because most of them would have bought this year in 2009 despite the tax credit, just as many already did in 2008.
