Take a look at the Santa Clarita zip codes, and how each is coping from the onslaught on bank owned properties hitting the Santa Clarita real estate market.
Admittedly, this figure is actually extremely hard to track. This is due to the fact that not all Realtors, who list these bank owned properties for sale, properly enter their listing AS BEING a bank owned property under a specific Terms section. So, in those instances, the only way for me to find those elusive listings, is to search ALL, and look at them individually for specific remarks the agent left indicating any issues with the home (i.e. Bank Owned).
So, I’ll provide you with what I can. As of tonight, there are 76 bank owned properties for sale in Santa Clarita. I’d be willing to bet that number is really more than double that, for reasons already mentioned above. For now, let’s see how each zip code fairs “per” our Santa Clarita MLS:
