Don’t expect to see an empty space anytime soon, where the Linens ’n Things has occupied for years, in the Stevenson Ranch Plaza. Linens ’n Things has filed for a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, in order to financially restructure itself. And as such, they have announced that they will close 120 underperforming stores, which in turn will lead to numerous layoffs. There are 27 California stores on their list of underpeforming stores. That equates to about a quarter of the stores being shut down.
